Announcing the Disrupt NY 2016 Agenda

Disrupt NY is right around the corner. The event starts on May 9th and we’re delighted to reveal the agenda. The lineup is stellar and for the first time, we will be hosting Disrupt NY in Red Hook, Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. We say this every year, but this is set to be our best Disrupt NY yet.

The conference kicks off on May 9th and is a packed three days that feature inspiring entrepreneurs, savvy investors and TechCrunch’s world renown Startup Battlefield competition. At the end of it all, one startup will take home $50,000 and the coveted Disrupt Cup.

Talmon Marco of Juno will talk about what it is like to take on Uber and Amazon’s Mike George will talk on the future of the Amazon Echo. We have New York Knicks star-turned startup investor, Carmelo Anthony, speaking about the sport of investing. Beme founder and Youtube star, Casey Neistat, will be on-stage discussing his fascinating path as an entrepreneur. And for the first time, Alex Chung of Giphy will be interviewed on-stage using just GIFs (he will actually speak but wouldn’t that be neat).

We have a fascinating conversation with both VCs and LPs about what is really happening with startup investing. And to top it off, there are 20 amazing young companies in Startup Battlefield who will compete to win the coveted Disrupt Cup and $50,000. Best of all? The entire show will be streamed on our site with a good dose streamed on Facebook Live, too.

We think it would be great if you could join us. You can buy tickets here, sign up your startup to exhibit here or you can join our Hackathon for a chance to for free tickets.

So jump on the subway, in a car or water taxi and we will see you in Red Hook, Brooklyn for Disrupt NY!
