Introducing The Disrupt SF 2014 Startup Battlefield

We’re excited to introduce you to a remarkable group of companies participating in this year’s Startup Battlefield. The Battlefield serves to showcase the best and most promising early-stage startups in the industry, and this batch does not disappoint.

We’ve got a little something for everyone, from connected devices, enterprise software and medical diagnostics to virtual reality, the sharing economy and security tools.

Our companies hail from the Bay Area, but also from Atlanta, Brooklyn, Dallas, Denver, San Diego, Bryn Mawr and even Bozeman, Mt. Five companies traveled from abroad to join us at Disrupt SF, coming from Japan, Germany, Israel, India and Nigeria. There are ten with female founders taking the stage; six of whom are CEOs of their startups.

Over the past month, these companies have been working tirelessly to push that last batch off the manufacturing line, get approved by the app store, or finish a redesign. They’ll have the chance to showcase all their hard work in sessions on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday, our selected finalists will have a chance at $50,000 and the Disrupt Cup.

Battlefield companies will also be showcasing in the Startup Alley all three days of the conference. Stop by and see what all the fuss is about.

Here are the companies in order of appearance:
