At the beginning of this week, we kicked off our three-city TechCrunch Northern Meetup tour with the first stop in Toronto, Canada. The Northern Meetups crew — including John Biggs, Matt Burns, Jordan Crook, Darrell Etherington, Romain Dillet, Elin Blesener, and me — had an action-packed two days in Toronto meeting with local entrepreneurs, hackers, hustlers, and investors throughout the city.
The main event, of course, was the meetup itself on Monday night, when nearly 1,000 people gathered at the Steamwhistle Brewery to eat, drink, demo, and talk tech.
